As a general rule healthy meals should be based around real, natural foods such as eggs, fish, meat, vegetables and, where tolerated, full-fat dairy products, nuts, pulses and seeds. Many of my patients, however, need to be strictly grain-free
ALL of the recipes below are not only gluten-free but GRAIN FREE, not just gluten-free; so no rice, maize, millet or pseudo-grains. Most are low-carb, and some are ketogenic. Many are cow-milk free with sheep or goat’s options.
One of the hardest aspects of sticking to a new diet is fitting in with everyone else, or having them fit in with you! To help ease the transition I have included two bread alternatives and plenty of cakes, treats, deserts and celebration foods, so that you can always find something to keep everybody happy without compromising your diet.
